Roadmates
Built for cycling clubs, motorcycle riders & brevet organizers

Never ride solo.
Never lose your pack.

Roadmates is the ride-coordination app for club cycling, motorcycle touring, and brevet-style events — live rider tracking, a route everyone can see, and a roster that always knows who's still out there.

Live tracking

Live location, on the rider's terms

Every rider picks how often their dot updates — as often as every 30 seconds for a fast group, or as little as every 15 minutes to save battery on an all-day ride. Background tracking keeps sharing going even with the app closed.

Rider-chosen interval — no one-size-fits-all polling rate.

SOS, one tap — alerts the organizer with an exact position.

Brevet mode

Control points, handled automatically

Opening and closing times calculate themselves from the brevet's category and distance. Riders check in with a geotagged photo; gate the start behind a bike check and digital waiver; mark DNS, DNF or a late finish right on the roster and the recap tallies itself.

No spreadsheet — control windows come from the ride's own settings.

Marshals can check riders in for anyone whose phone dies mid-ride.

Route & privacy

Plan privately, publish when ready

Drop in a GPX file and every stop plots itself, distance-from-start and all. Build a ride as a private draft, send the direct link to a co-organizer to review, then publish it to the club feed once it's ready — or clone an old ride's whole setup to save the rebuild.

Draft rides stay private — reachable only by direct link until published.

Clone a ride — reuse the route, controls and timing, minus last time's check-ins.

Set up in minutes

From roadbook to finish line

Works the same whether it's four friends on Sunday or forty riders on a brevet.

01

Set the route

Add controls by hand or import a GPX. Turn on brevet mode and Roadmates works out every opening and closing time.

02

Riders join & check in

Share the ride link or QR code. Riders tap in at each control with a geotagged photo — no account creation needed at a 6am rollout.

03

Follow it live, then recap

Everyone's dot on one map, updated on their own schedule, plus a full recap the moment the last rider's home.

"Our motorcycle club used to run rides off a WhatsApp group and a prayer. Now everyone sees the route, and I can see the whole pack on one map when we split up in traffic."
— Weekend touring club, Bengaluru
"We ran a 300 BRM with three control points staffed by marshals who'd never met before that morning. Roadmates was the only briefing anyone needed."
— Randonneuring club organizer, Kerala
